BLM Land Management is trying to take the land and life away from the wild mustanges!

As a native American Indian here in California I have strong feelings towards the land I love and the animals that habituate it. To destroy the land and the horses that have lived here for years is a outrage! There are preserves for all kinds of animals across the states, there is NO reason for the wild horse not to have one also. They are of my heritages dating back hundreds of years. For BLM land management to even consider such a move is unthinkable to me. Not to vision the wild mustangs running free across the land tears at my heart. I pray that BLM Land Management rethink such a horrible action.

Here is the site that you can go to, write a letter telling BLM what you feel about the wild mustangs and their freedom.

I was setting here just thinking on how alot of relationships these days are in trouble. We get so busy with our lives, work schedules and such that we sometimes forget the important things in life. The people we love. Remember the first time we saw that person? How our heart flutterd? How we couldn't wait to talk to them or see them again. Hoping they'd ask us out or say yes if we were the one doing the asking. Then the big day comes when you tie that knot. Vowing to love and cherish each other till death. But somehow, somewhere something goes wrong. We stop talking, stop doing those sweet little things we used to do for them. Just to see their eyes light up or that smile that brightend your day. Years pass and you just make the moves. Wishing things were different. Exspecting them to make the change or the first move. More times than not if we wait for that certain person to take that frist step we will be waiting a long time. Its hared to be the one to make the first move but if it means saving a relaionship isnt it worth the risks? You took a committment when you fell in love. You committed yourself and your heart. So make another comittment. One of saving your marriage. Be that man or woman that took their breath away. Recapture their attention, their heart!

Growing apart happens to alot of couples. It takes a huge effort to keep love growing strong. Both sides have to put out some energy in doing this. The awsome thing here is once you start being attentive and showing signs of being inlove like you were in the begining the other end of this couple recipicates. Its never too late to be romantic. Start today.. do something romantic.. a little goes a long ways.

Memory of You..

Fires crackling, flames casting shadows. The warmth making me sleepy as I sit remembering you. Each day that passes are as fine lines on my face. My heart beats on, my memories continue. In hopes that someday we will hold each other in close embrace.

My ride

I've always loved the mountains. When I was a teenager my papa, sister and a friend rode our horses up into them and camped. The Trinity Alps are so pristine and beautiful. Since that day they have been in my blood. Later I worked there as a wrangler, I was seventeen and thought I knew it all. As the years went by I got married and had two wonderful kids. When my kids got old enough where I could venture off with out them needing me I started a guide service into the Trinity Alps. No horses this time, I had seven llamas. I would load the llamas down with the camp gear and awesome food for my clients. They had all the comforts of home. A portable potty tent which could be easily moved to be made into shower. Food like shrimp and wine, pie and even ice cream! One could set by a beautiful lake and watch the dragon flies or the fish jump. It was quiet and the air was fresh. Deer and bear would wonder by the camp. Red tailed hawks would fly over head screeching there warning of intruders, which was us by the way. That was the best job I ever had. Met people from all over. As time passes as it always does life changes and people do to. I no longer take people into the mountains although I still go myself. Now I write novels and truely feel that is what I do best. The road of life for me will continure to take turns that are unexspected and may lead me to the uncharted ..
